J29, Inc. (J29) of Millersville, Maryland, has once again been named to the Inc. Regional list, ranking #9 in the Mid-Atlantic region for fastest-growing private companies in the United States. This year, J29 is also recognized as #4 in the Government Services category.
This recognition follows J29 being named #5 in the Mid-Atlantic region in 2025, and #2 in the government services category. The Mid-Atlantic region includes Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina, and lists are ranked according to percentage revenue growth over two years.
The Inc. Regional award presents a comprehensive look at the best of entrepreneurial business and success, highlighting small and independent businesses that drive economic growth. Between 2022 and 2024, the 137 companies named under the Mid-Atlantic region had a median growth rate of 74%; by 2024, they also added 8,399 jobs and $10.6 billion to the region’s economy.
J29’s growth can be attributed to prime contract wins that J29 was awarded in 2025 for our Department of Labor (DOL) Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) Coding & Claim Analysis program, and the United States Customs & Immigration Services (USCIS) National Benefits Center (NBC) Provider Auditing program. Additionally, J29 successfully sustained contract revenue through a difficult period of government program reviews and analysis to ensure that tax payer dollars were being properly spent. Our claims processing and medical record review services also expanded J29’s involvement to existing provider auditing programs within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
