Millersville, Maryland — J29 Inc, a distinguished government contracting firm, is proud to announce its latest achievement: the award of a $10 million Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) to support the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS). This contract, spanning a duration of five (5) years, positions J29 as the sole awardee, further solidifying the company’s presence in the government contracting arena.
On this contract, J29 will support ASPR’s NDMS to efficiently and accurately provide analysis, and process and manage definitive medical care claims arising from Presidential declared public health emergencies (PHE) and disasters. NDMS is the lead federal agency for definitive medical care through a coordinated partnership with the Departments of Veterans Affairs (VA), Defense (DOD), Homeland Security (DHS), and a provider network of over 1,900 civilian partner healthcare facilities. In PHE responses, NDMS deploys immediate medical teams and resources to affected areas when local resources are insufficient. Over the course of this five-year agreement, J29 will leverage its expertise and resources to assist ASPR in its vital mission of response to man-made and national disasters.
The ASPR BPA award follows closely on the heels of J29’s recent triumph in securing the National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) contract, showcasing the company’s continued dedication to excellence and service in mission critical sectors of the healthcare industry.
Tracy Mills, Founder and President of J29, shared her excitement on this substantial contract win, stating, “At J29, we are driven by a commitment to excellence and a passion for making a positive impact. Winning the ASPR contract is not just a testament to our capabilities but also an opportunity to contribute to the resilience and preparedness of our nation’s healthcare system while working with a new agency partner.”
J29’s reputation for exceptional service, dedication to a strong company culture, and commitment to community support played a crucial role in securing this award. The company’s motto, “Work Hard and Be Nice to People,” continues to guide its approach to government contracting, emphasizing the importance of both hard work and interpersonal relationships.
