J29, Inc. (J29) is proud to announce that our Founder and CEO, Tracy Mills, has been named a “2025 FORUM Leading for IMPACT Women in Leadership Award” winner. The annual Leading for IMPACT program celebrates women who deliver mission outcomes across Federal Civilian, Federal Health, Defense, and the wider government technology ecosystem—leaders who mentor others, build high‑performing teams, and push innovation forward in service of the public good.

Tracy launched J29 in 2017 after a distinguished career in working for the Federal Government, guided by a simple conviction: organizations thrive when they prioritize their employees, are people‑centered, value‑driven, and resolutely focused on quality. That philosophy became J29’s foundation and informs the way we serve health and human services programs every day. It also inspired our company motto—“Hope for the Future”—and our commitment to giving back to our communities.

Under Tracy’s leadership, J29 has grown from a mission‑driven startup into a 300-employee national partner to federal and state health and human service programs where we remain focused on J29’s ability to process, review, and analyze medical claims, records, disputes, and audits – all while staying true to our culture. We’re proud to be a women‑owned, SBA 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business, and a team recognized repeatedly for excellence in both performance and people practices. With staff representing J29 from over 30 states, its

J29’s growth as an employee-centered organization has been matched by results: in 2025, Inc. Magazine ranked J29 #116 on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest‑growing private companies in America—our third consecutive year on the list.

What sets Tracy apart is how she connects purpose to performance. Inside J29, that shows up in the way teams are supported and empowered to do their best work in support of those that need it most. Externally, it shows up in the measurable impact our teams deliver across programs that touch millions of lives in communities such as those involved in Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare. It also shows up in how Tracy leverages J29 to give back to the community—J29 tithes a portion of our monthly earnings to nonprofits aligned to our values, because we believe our success should fuel others’ success, too.

The Leading for IMPACT honor is awarded to leaders who exemplify this blend of mission focus, mentorship, and innovation. This year’s cohort spans Federal agencies, health systems, technology firms, and consulting partners across the public sector—trailblazers who are modernizing how services are designed, secured, and delivered. The J29 team is thrilled to see Tracy recognized alongside so many respected peers, including leaders from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS, Defense Health Agency (DHA), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA(, and more.

Please join us in congratulating Tracy on this well‑deserved recognition. We’re grateful for the example she sets and energized for what’s ahead as we continue to deliver Hope for the Future—for our clients, our people, and the communities we support.
