Millersville, MD – J29 Inc. was proud to sponsor and participate in the June 2026 “Stand Down for Veterans” event hosted by the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center (VWHRC) at their Tiny Home Village in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The Stand Down brought together veterans, family members, community organizations, and volunteers for a day focused on delivering critical resources, support services, and encouragement to those who have served. J29 was honored to contribute by providing necessary event items.

Representing J29, Tracy Mills and Camille Schachtele spent the morning distributing supplies, engaging with attendees, and connecting directly with veterans and their families.

“J29’s presence, support, and willingness to serve our nation’s veterans made an incredible impact. Because of dedicated partners and volunteers like J29, we are able to provide hope, resources, and encouragement to veterans experiencing homelessness and those facing difficult circumstances,” said Scott Dulebohn, CEO of the VWHRC. “With J29’s help, we were able to assist 39 veterans and seven women from the shelter.”

J29’s support of the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center extends beyond its participation in the Stand Down event. In partnership with the VWHRC, J29 created an Amazon Wish List to connect community members with the organization’s most pressing needs. J29 also continues to explore opportunities to support veterans through employment, working with the VWHRC to connect qualified candidates whose skills and experience align with available opportunities within J29.

These ongoing efforts reflect J29’s broader commitment to strengthening the communities it serves and supporting those who have sacrificed for our country. The Stand Down event served as a powerful reminder of the impact that community, compassion, and collaboration can have, and J29 is honored to partner with organizations like the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center to help ensure veterans receive the care, respect, resources, and opportunities they deserve.
