Our Purpose

To J29, “Blessing Others” is not just a saying, it is our truth and why J29 was originally founded. We exist for philanthropy and to give back. This foundation and our “Mission Inspired” core value have driven our success, and provided our employees with a greater sense of purpose for their work.

To whom much is given, much is expected.

We believe that the more we are given – whether through knowledge, time, wealth, or creativity –
the more we are called to give back, support others, and create a lasting impact in our communities.

For this reason, J29 tithes our earnings directly back to nonprofit organizations or community efforts.

Here are a few examples of our recurring impact:

Founded in 2009, the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center is a Myrtle Beach based nonprofit focused on ending veteran homelessness, assisting with job placement, filing VA claims, providing temporary shelter, and more.

Founded 3 years ago, Tides of Grace is a community resource center based out of Centerville, Maryland.

In December of 2025, Tides of Grace honored J29’s philanthropic efforts by naming their newly founded Crisis Room after the company as a thank you for their continuous support over the year.

Community members can visit the J29 Crisis Room and receive access to supplies such as: household essentials, hygiene and toiletry items, baby necessities, food, and much more.

J29 sponsored community pantries with Caring Cupboard.

Caring Cupboard, a Maryland based nonprofit, operates under the belief that no man, woman, or child should have to go without a meal. They have 16 free little pantries across Anne Arundel County at various locations such as libraries, parks, schools, and more. J29 sponsors two locations, and stocks them monthly with a variety of household goods.

In 2025 alone, J29 supported 10+ nonprofits/community efforts

As J29 continues to grow, so does our impact. We believe in empowering our employees to do good things for others, and creating impact beyond financial donations – here is how:

J29 hosts an annual “Step Into Summer” challenge, encouraging employees to take charge of their own health and in turn, benefit a non-profit organization.

The J29 “Community Hands” program invites employees to volunteer and after 8 hours of support, J29 will make a donation to the organization the employee volunteered with.

If it is important to our employees, it is important to us. J29 employees can submit organizations they are passionate about and include ways J29 can support.
